It's held May 24, every year, The "Bermuda Day Celebrations"
We generally have a full day of fun and festivities!
The day begins with the Bermuda Marathon in the morning.
By International Standards, it's really a Half-Marathon. The whole of Bermuda comes out to the roadside to cheer on each and every runner, walker, cycler, in-line-skater and whoever else is on the road.
In the afternoon, we enjoy the Bermuda Day Parade.
There are Floats, Dancers, Bands, The Gombeys and so many more participants.
Bermuda basically 'camps out' along the roadside for the day. They bring their Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, sit and relax all along the parade route.
Friends, family and visitors alike are invited to our roadside "camps" for something to eat and drink. A great time is had by all!
We want you to get a good "feel" for how we celebrate our "Bermuda Day."
Bermuda Day History
Bermuda Day at one point in our early history was called Empire Day. This day was chosen way back then to celebrate Queen Victoria's Birthday.
As mentioned above, we have the Bermuda Marathon and the Bermuda Day Parade.
In addition, for you water lovers, there is a fitted-dinghy race. The race is held in the St. George's Harbour. It's usually well attended too!
If you take your Bermuda Vacation around May 24, you'll find the Bermuda Beaches full of fun-seeking families. This date marks the beginning of summer for Bermudians.
They hit the beaches in record numbers. It's a fun time for all!

Bermuda Weather
Bermuda Weather is like a magnet to our visitors. Its even all year round. We don't have a rainy season nor do we have a dry season. The Bermuda Weather is mild all year round.
The Gulf Stream flows between Bermuda and the United States. It has a tremendous effect on our weather. It usually is the hottest its going to get between the months of June through August. (85 degrees F)
The coldest months are December through February. (65 degrees F)
